Biography

Mark is the Channel Manager of ITV Local Yorkshire. In 2007 he launched and
established the broadband TV service which is run from the ITV newsroom in
Leeds, Yorkshire.


Previously Creative Producer and Manager, Red Bee Media (formerly BBC Broadcast).
There he was the team leader of the cross platform promotion unit specialising in
BBC News services and the BBC English Regions.


At BBC Broadcast he was responsible for the launch creative for BBC News 24,
BBC Parliament, BBC KNOWLEDGE which became BBC FOUR. His teams have picked
up many industry awards Industry awards including Promax, RTS, Roses and others.


At the BBC Religious Programmes department he directed outside broadcasts including
morning worship, Songs of Praise and a talk series Articles of Faith.


A highlight of has been devising and running BBC training courses for new directors. 
He has also enjoyed working as a news presenter on regional TV and radio and as continuity
announcer on BBC ONE
